Alice Cogburn, 78, Independence, MO, passed away April 13, 2018. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 20, at Lobb Cemetery, 2525 Lobb Cemetery Road, Blue Springs, MO 64015.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Lucille Crawford; her brothers, Orville "Sonny" Bristow and Alfred Marian Crawford; her sister, Judy Divelbliss; and her beloved husband, Donnie Cogburn. She is survived by her children, Lawanna Jones (Paul), Don Mitchel Cogburn, Carol Cogburn, Kathy Cogburn, and Janice Floyd (Herschel); her grandchildren, Deanna Loporto (Adam), Donnie Jones, John Jones, Joe Cogburn (Angel Sauer); her great-grandchildren, Noah Wallace, Dominica LoPorto, Eryka Sauer, and Chelsea Clemmons; her sisters, Lawanna Morton (Sam) and Trudy Mackinzie (Paul); and countless nieces, nephews and friends who will continue to love and miss her.
