Alicia L. "Alice" Kirkpatrick was born on May 28, 1943, to Juan and Ascension Alvarez, in historic Northeast Kansas City, Missouri, where she was one of 13 children. She started her career at Factory Motor Parts and retired after 18 years. Alice then devoted her time to making a difference at St. Anthony's Parish and oversaw the running of the annual St. Joseph's Table where she thrived and remained grateful for the community she was a part of. Alice was "famously known" for a few things: her bright red nail polish, her Italian cookies, being the best Nani she could be and, most of all, her perfectly kept hair. The bigger the hair, the closer to God.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brothers, and sisters. She is survived by her sister, Irene Elmore; son, John Kirkpatrick (Tammie Lynn); and granddaughter, Alyssa Perry (Dalton).

Alice will remain in the thoughts, memories, and hearts of not only her immediate family but nieces, nephews, and friends, all who she left her mark on over the years of her life.

The Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 p.m. followed by Visitation 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Dalton Perry, Christopher Camacho, Andrew Monaco, Mike Harris, Phillip Alvarez, and Jay Briones.
