It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved aunt, Angela “Queenie” Masucci, who passed away peacefully at the age of 94, on September 22, 2026.

Born in Kansas City, Missouri on March 16, 1932, to Vincent “Jim” and Philomena “Fanny” (Marra) Masucci. Angela was a beacon of faith, kindness and unwavering devotion to her family. She grew up in the Columbus Park area and enjoyed the summertime activities and sports provided at Don Bosco Community Center, which produced many lifelong friendships.

Queenie was a very devout Catholic who frequently spent her mornings praying. She worked in the insurance industry for over 40 years before retiring. However, at an early age she worked at her family’s produce stand at the City Market and continued working there on Saturdays until the early 1990’s. She also cherished getting together with her friends to play cards or dominos.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings Alexander Masucci (Betty), Dr. Joseph Masucci, William “Boots” Masucci (Loretta) and Rosalie “Dolly” Masucci.

Angela is survived by her sister-in-law Mary Kaye Masucci, and many nephews and nieces, including a very close and devoted niece Mary Murray.

Services will be held on Monday, September 28th, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Rosary at 10:45 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Mt. Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
