Angelina "Angie" (Leggio) Passantino, 87, Kansas City, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 5 p.m. Family and Friends will gather on Saturday at St. Gabriel Archangel Catholic Church, 4737 N. Cleveland, Kansas City, MO 64117, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11a.m. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Angie was born July 9, 1924 in Kansas City, MO to Nunzio and Carmela (Belgiere) Leggio. She was a long-time member of the American Daughters of Columbus where she enjoyed playing bocce, and was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Societa Ragusa Americana, and St. Gabriel Archangel Parish
Angie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard C. "Bull" Passantino, in 2001; her brothers, Angelo Leggio and Sam Leggio; and her sisters, Lena Mancini, Carm Sherpy, Jennie Sivils and Mary Singleton.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Michelle Passantino; her daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Anthony Lanfranca; her grandchildren, Christopher Charles Lanfranca, John Leonard Lanfranca, and Nina Marie Passantino; sister and brother-in-law, Sadie and Carl DiGerlamo; sister-in-law, Cherie Leggio; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers: Bob Bax, Ralph Bax, Angelo Mancini, Tony Mancini, Pat Serrone, David Sherpy, Charlie Singleton, Paul Sivils, and Fred Vance.
