Angeline Serrone, 88, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013. Visitation will begin with the Rosary at 2 p.m. and continue until 6 p.m. Sunday, October 6, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Visitation will also be 9 a.m. Monday, October 7, at St. Gabriel Archangel Catholic Church, 4737 N. Cleveland, Kansas City, MO 64117, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow in Mount Olivet Mausoleum.
Angeline was born January 2, 1925 in Kansas City, MO. She worked as an eye examiner for the Missouri License Bureau for 25 years and also volunteered at North Kansas City Hospital. She was a member of the American Daughters of Columbus, the Daughters of Isabella, the Red Hat Society, and The Golden Girls at Wexford Place. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Louis, in 2008; her parents; her sisters, Theresa, Annette, Katherine, and Rose; and her niece, Sandy.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Theresa "Terry" and Gary Crane; granddaughter, Christine Ellis; great-grandchildren, Sara-Cate Ellis and T.J. Ellis; nieces, Marie, Josephine, and Kathy; and many other relatives and friends.
