Anna Marie was a loving and gracious woman who exhibited class and grace. She was truly beautiful, inside and out, and displayed elegance and sophistication. She took pride in her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She believed that she was put on this earth just to be a "Nani" and she loved that more than anything in life. Anna Marie's dedication to her family was prevalent in her everyday life, from cooking Sunday dinner to cheering for her grandchildren at their sporting events. She was enormously proud of her children and grandchildren and was always happiest when in their company. "Babe" was well-loved and blessed with many friends. She was a wonderful wife, mother, nani, sister, aunt, daughter, niece, and cousin.

Anna Marie is preceded in death by her father and mother, Thomas and Savina Simone; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Manuel and Frances Sciortino; brother-in-law, Jack Lascuola; and nephew, Tommy Simone.

Survivors include her loving, devoted, and caring husband of 41 years, John Sciortino; son Tom and wife, Victoria Sciortino; daughter Savina and husband, Donnie Raybourn; daughter Francie Sciortino; grandchildren, Jonathan, Mark, Annie, Felicia, John Frank, Johnny Joe, Dominic, Sophia, and great granddaughter, Mary. Siblings include brother Anthony Simone and wife, Edie; sister Mary Jo and husband, John Giacomo; brother Tom Simone; sister-in-law Ginger Lascuola, sister-in-law Carol and husband, Larry Morris.

Anna Marie will also be greatly missed by her nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family extends a special thanks to the care takers at North Kansas City Hospital's fifth floor oncology department.
