Obituary

Anna Marie Scarcello, 96, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106. Entombment will follow at Mount Olivet Mausoleum. Please omit flowers.
Anna was born February 20, 1921, to Joseph and Florence (Bivona) DiGiovanna. She worked with her husband at The Eagle Buffet where she was known as 'Chicken Annie'. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 70 years, Anthony "Toby" Scarcello, in 2010; son, Anthony Joseph Scarcello, in 1988; son-in-law, Frank A. Mackedanz, in 2013; sister, Carrie Perniciaro; and brother, Joe "D" DiGiovanna.
Survivors include her daughter, Bonita Mackedanz; grandchildren, David Mackedanz, Daniel and Carol Mackedanz; great-granddaughter, Jaimy Mackedanz; great-great-grandchildren, K.J. and Amaya; nieces and nephews.
