Annette May Moser, age 54, passed away peacefully in her home on December 1, 2021. She was named after her grandmother Anna Mae Moser. Annette was born in Independence and lived in Lee's Summit, Missouri for the past 30 years. She earned her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice at University of Central Missouri. Annette was a probation officer for Cass & Jackson County for nearly 20 years. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, high-spirited and her strong desire to help others in need. She volunteered at Social Services in Lee's Summit and the Hope House. Annette enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and was always drawn to the ocean.

She is survived by her son, Truman Runyan, her parents Carl & Rita Moser, sister Michelle Moser, brothers Carl & Ross Moser, in-laws Ron & Pam Runyan and countless other family members.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, Kansas City, MO. Annette's final resting place will be at the ocean in accordance with her wishes.
