Anthony Nicholas Hernandez, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 21.

Born on August 8, 2004, Anthony brought light, laughter, and warmth to those who knew him. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend whose presence left a lasting mark on his family.

Anthony is survived by his parents, Miriam Elizabeth Hernandez and Wilder Alexander Sanchez. He was a cherished brother to Andres DeLong and Evangeline Mendoza. He also leaves behind his grandfather, Horacio Hernandez, and his great-grandmother, Olga Hernandez, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Anthony attended Northeast Middle School, Frontier Middle School, and Outreach Christian Education, and worked at Worlds of Fun, Hallmark, and Amazon.

Anthony will be remembered for his loving heart, his quiet strength, and the joy he brought into everyday moments. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will live on in the lives of those who loved him.

A service to celebrate Anthony's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Gospel Center Ministries, 2900 NE Cates Street, Kansas City, MO 64117.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
