Anthony "Red" Battaglia, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be 10:00-11:30 a.m. Monday, May 11, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence, Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where a Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow at White Chapel Cemetery, Gladstone, MO.

Anthony was born November 24, 1934 in Kansas City, MO to Mary and Nunzio Battaglia. He was a self-employed beautician who loved to travel and lived each and every day to its fullest. His exuberant personality was felt by many, and his eccentric taste was as rare and special as he was to his family. He was proceeded in death by his parents; brothers, Joseph Battaglia, and Frank Battaglia.

Anthony is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Salvatore and Beverly Battaglia, James and Darlene Battaglia; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friend Cecil (Sonny) Hyde.
