Anthony Phillip Saluto, 32, of Kansas City, MO, left this world to be with our Lord on April 3, 2016. He was born on October 20, 1983, to Mark Saluto and Lorrie Lomas. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Evangelistic Center Church, 1024 E. Truman Rd., Kansas City, MO 64106. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at Evangelistic Center Church, with burial following at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Anthony was an expert barista for The Opera House in the River Market, and was known there for his expertise on the job and his welcoming smile. He was a Royals fan and an avid cyclist. He was also something of a renaissance man, enjoying and participating in the arts, especially music and painting. He liked to travel and hike, and he was planning an extended trip to Europe in the fall. Anthony will be most remembered for his love of Jesus, family, and friends, and for his ability to listen with compassion.
Anthony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnie Lomas, Mildred Lomas, and Stephen Saluto; and infant sister, Angel. He is survived by his parents, Lorrie and Mark; and siblings, Matthew Saluto (Kristen), Alyssa Burnett (Casey), and Johnie Saluto (Jessa). He is also survived by his grandmother, Frances Saluto; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and best friends.
