Anthony Carl Scavuzzo, 54, went home on Thursday, June 20, 2013. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Monday, June 24, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1357 NE 42nd Terr., Kansas City, MO 64116, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin 7 p.m. Please omit flowers.

Anthony was born December 25, 1958, in Kansas City, MO, to Carl and Angeline (Occhipinto) Scavuzzo, who preceded him in death. Anthony's smile lit up any room he entered and everyone noticed him not just because of his 6'7" stature, but because of his bigger than life personality. No one was a stranger. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Anthony is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michel and Alicia Scavuzzo of Frisco TX; his daughter, Angalena Scavuzzo of Kansas City; the joy of his heart, Emiliana Marie Scavuzzo, his one and only granddaughter; sister and brother-in-law, Concetta and Ron McCombs; brother, John Scavuzzo; sister, Jeanie Scavuzzo; nephew, Carl Scavuzzo; niece, Monica Scavuzzo; and Jesse Roberts, who was like a second son to him.
