Anthony Gallo, Sr., of Orrick, MO, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2018, at the age of 63. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the services.

Anthony was a talented craftsman, having founded AG Custom Cabinets in 1979 and building it into a successful business for nearly 40 years — and it's still going strong today with his son Anthony Jr. at the helm. He had a special way with people. AG never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with anyone who had the good fortune of standing next to him. He was known for playing practical jokes, and wherever he went, laughter would follow. Most of all, AG loved his family and friends. He was always the first one to offer to host a holiday gathering, a lake weekend — or, really, a party for any reason. He loved Italian food. He was proud when he perfected his mother's recipe for pasta and meatballs, and he made it nearly every Sunday. He was especially happy when the dining room table was filled with Italian cookies during the holidays. One of his proudest moments was when he took his entire family on a cruise in late September.

Anthony leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, Deborah. He also is survived by his sons, Anthony Gallo Jr., Louis Charles-Gallo (Eric); son-in-law, Steve Thornbrugh; brothers, Tom Gallo (Veta), and Sam Gallo Jr. (Rosetta); sister, Mary Roebuck (Jim); uncle and aunt, Vince and Anna Anzalone; grandchildren, Brandon Gallo (Paige), Carmela Murphy, Aliyah and Jasmine Thornbrugh, and Weston, Blake, Michael, Giovanni, Dane, Ava Marie, and Justice Charles-Gallo; great-granddaughter, Myria Gallo; and many, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.

Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore and Marie Gallo; sister, Kathy Ragusa; daughter, Christina Marie Thornbrugh; and aunt and uncle Virginia and Jerome Ferro.

Anthony will be missed more than words can say.
