Antoinette Louise Beth (Raccuglia) known to everyone as "Toni," was born on November 28,1942 and moved on to her next journey on April 14, 2026.

Toni grew up in Kansas City with her parents and two older brothers. A lifelong Catholic, she graduated in 1959 from Cardinal Glennon High School. She had finished cosmetology school prior to graduation and already owned her own beauty shop by the age of 16! At the salon, appropriately named Toni's Beauty Shop, she never met a stranger and began her favorite pastime of being a social butterfly.

Toni welcomed her first son, Randy, in 1963 while married to Vernon Hearn. Vernon had a daughter from a previous marriage, Connie, who Toni welcomed into her life as if she was her own. A few years later, and after some difficult relationships ended, Toni would be introduced to the man who would become the love of her life, Duane "Blackie" Beth. Blackie was a bar owner in Sugar Creek and Independence. They married on October 4,1969. Blackie had four children from a previous marriage, Philip, Steve, Sharon and Monica, lending more to their blended family.

Toni and Blackie eventually settled in Independence. Though Toni continued to cut hair at her home, her shop closed. She often worked at the bars they owned. It was there where she could not only display her love of Elvis Presley but also listen loudly to his music while mingling with customers. She played in a bowling league for years and formed many enduring friendships with Sugar Creek natives. Toni and Blackie welcomed two more girls, Katrina in 1971 and then completed their family with Nicole in 1978. When the girls were young, she would often be a parent volunteer at their school, Holy Family. She loved a clean home and eventually started cleaning homes as well. Toni lived for holidays, when all the kids could get together to eat, play card games like Canasta and enjoy the madness of their large family. Toni welcomed any and all to her home and made sure everyone left full. She was a wonderful cook and an amazing baker. After Blackie retired, Toni went to work at her very favorite job, The Flamingo, working as a cage cashier. She met so many people she grew to love and even acquired the nickname, "Mama Toni," from her wonderful co-workers. The Flamingo eventually became the Isle of Capri and after many years, she retired with a big party in her honor.

Toni was a huge part of caring for her grand and great-grandchildren so her daughters could work. The kids adored being with their "Nani' and learning the fine art of crafting, as well as the ins and outs of Uno. In her later years, Toni was able to meet with her friends and family for lunches and gossip, and do a lot of her second favorite pastime, shopping. Toni never passed up a deal.

In the last five years, Toni dealt with several health issues. After recovering from heart catheter procedures, she then battled a severe stroke and brain bleed. Doctors weren't sure she would live out the week, but she lived almost three more years despite growing lung complications. It goes without saying that Toni was not ready to move on from this life, but God was ready for her and there is no doubt her loving friends and family who have passed are excited to see her again. Toni was one of a kind. Her generosity was unmatched.

Toni is survived by her children: Randy Hearn, Katrina Beth, Nicole Ford, Connie Owens and Sharon Brown. She leaves behind 16 grandchildren; Tonya, Dois, Duane, Joe Mike, Desiree,' Amanda, Brandon, Aaron, Mickaela, Shelby, Mickenze,' Drake, McGwire, Cole, Annabella and Layla as well as 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces, Jean (Raccuglia) Ferguson and Anna (Raccuglia) Meek, and nephews, Carl Raccuglia and Dominic (Tammy) Raccuglia and too many cousins, greats, extended family and friends to name.

Toni was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Jennie (Serrone) Raccuglia, her husband of 45 years, Blackie Beth. 3 children and a daughter-in-law, Steven Beth (Tammy), Philip Beth and Monica Johnston. Her brothers and sisters-in-laws, Salvatore Raccuglia (Margaurite) and Dominic Raccuglia (Mary), Uncles Peter and Patsey Serrone, a grandson, Steven Beth, as well as several cousins and family, and one of her very best friends, Sandra Canterbury.

Toni's Celebration of Life will be as follows: Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Family and friends will gather on Monday, April 20, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106, where the Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m.
