Antonia G. Salazar, 92, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Visitation will begin with the Rosary at 9:30 a.m. and continue until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, 901 Cesar Chavez Ave., Kansas City, MO 64108. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Antonia was born May 10, 1921, in Kansas City, MO to Eligio and Virginia Gutierrez. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Victor C. Salazar, in 1977; and her sisters, Katy Avalos and Aurora Jaime.

Antonia is survived by her children and their spouses, Carlos M. Salazar, Maria Elena and Ed Williams, Victor and Michele Salazar; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Carmen Zuniga; and brother, Eligio Gutierrez, Jr.
