Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Anthony Parish.

Augustine was born December 19, 1924, in Kansas City, MO, to Joseph and Angeline (Teresi) Rinella. She was a loving care-giver and Aunt for her two nephews, Joseph and David, and always lived her life following the biblical Christ-like principle of "others first, before self". This was also reflected in her work whether it was baking biscotti cookies with the ladies for the St. Joseph's Table each year at St. Anthony Catholic Church, playing Bocce at The Daughters of Columbus, assisting with the work of the church as a member of the Altar Society, and cooking not only for the family meals but for her church activities as well. Even though she will be dearly missed by her brother and family, today, she and her Savior Jesus save a place for them in Heaven someday.

Survivors include her brother, Anthony G. Rinella; nephews and nieces, Joseph and Debra Rinella, David and Angela Rinella; great-nephews and great-nieces, Christopher Rinella, Marissa and Brad Hamilton, Kara Rinella, Jimmy Rinella, Angelina Rinella, Natalie Rose Rinella; and sister-in-law, Marguerite Rinella.

We appreciate the loving care and support for Augustine by all of our relatives and friends. Also, special thanks to the staff at the Villages of Jackson Creek and Hospice Care of the Midwest.
