It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Bernard (Bernie) David Brown on February 23, 2024. Bernie, born on December 13, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Bernie is survived by his loving sons and spouses, Andrew and Julie Doty and Matthew and Laura Brown, and his devoted sister, Sandy Brown. He was a proud grandfather to Phoenix Doty, Quinten Doty, Savannah Doty, Matthew Raphael Brown, Isabella Carol Ann Brown, and great-grandfather to five adoring great-grandchildren.

Bernie is now reunited with his beloved wife, Carol Ann, daughter Julie Ann, and son Jason Ross in the afterlife. Together, they create a family bond that transcends the realms of time.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Bernie was an avid Green Bay Packers fan who never missed an opportunity to remind his Viking-fan sons of his team's prowess. His passion for football was just one facet of his vibrant personality.

Throughout his life, Bernie enjoyed playing cards, participating in his bowling league, and watching baseball. He found joy in helping others around his apartment complex, a testament to his compassionate and giving nature. Bernie had a special talent for striking up conversations with family and friends over a cup of coffee, discussing the various twists and turns of life.

In his younger days, Bernie had a remarkable chapter as a breeder of English Mastiffs, winning several prestigious dog shows. His dedication to his four-legged companions mirrored the care and love he showed to his human family.

Bernie's wide circle of friends included Lisa Bongino, whom he considered as a daughter. His warmth, humor, and generosity touched the lives of many, creating lasting connections that will be cherished by all who knew him.

As we say our goodbyes, Bernie will be dearly loved and profoundly missed. The echoes of his enthusiastic cheer, "Go Pack GO!" will continue to resonate in our hearts, reminding us of the joy and passion he brought into our lives.
