Betty Kay Dukovich, 83, a longtime resident of northeast Kansas City, MO, passed away March 29, 2024. Services will be held on Saturday, April 6, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Betty was born January 9, 1941, in Excelsior Springs, MO, to the late Fred and Linnie (Wilson) Dowell. Through the heartache of losing three sons, she was a good fighter who always had a smile. She didn't know a stranger, was a friend to all, and wouldn't let a mouth go hungry. Above all, she loved her family dearly.
Betty was preceded in death by her sons Eugene, Milos, and Milan Dukovich; her grandson Nick Kilgore; and her brother Rev. Fred Wilson Dowell. She is survived by her husband of over 63 years, Eugene "Duke" Dukovich; her daughters Connie Kilgore, Christie, Eugenia, and Lugenia Dukovich; her grandchildren Crystal, Tiffany, Sammie, Christian, Brooke, Aaron, and Cheyenne; and six great-grandchildren.
