Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Betty Santa Maria passed away on October 25, 2012 at the age of 87.

Betty was born on September 20, 1925 in Kansas City MO. She retired from St Mary's Hospital where she was an insurance claim manager. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Angelo "Tips" Santa Maria. She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and John Abbott of Kansas City MO; son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Chris Santa Maria of New Braunfels TX; grandchildren, Frank J. and Judy Santa Maria, Betty Santa Maria, Bennie John and Angela Abbott, Angelo and Stephanie Abbott; great-grandchildren, Andrea and Michael Santa Maria, and Bianca and Gianni Abbott.

Graveside inurnment services will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 12, at Resurrection Cemetery, 5001 NE Cookingham Dr., Kansas City, MO 64156.
