Betty Jean Tebo, 78, Northeast Kansas City, MO, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013, at her home. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery.

Betty was born December 15, 1934 in Winnebago, NE. She was preceded in death by her husband Ona Tebo, and her son Michael Tebo.

Survivors include her children, Debra Sprofera and husband Pete, Rick Tebo, and Joyce Eye; grandchildren, Krystle Nicole Eye, Ashley Blaire Tebo, Gary Eye; great-grandsons, Mason Kendall and Jose Ake; sisters, Joyce Whitted of Lompoc, CA, Verna Whipple, Sylvia Whipple; brother, Leslie Whipple of St. Paul, MN; and sister-in-law, Minnie Stilen of Omaha, NE.
