Betty Jean Weedin's Obituary
Betty Jean Weedin, 70, died Monday, February 11, 2013. Visitation will be 9 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 15, at Little Sisters of the Poor, 8745 James A. Reed Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the family.
Betty worked and volunteered at Little Sisters of the Poor for 25 years before retiring as head receptionist in 2012. She was preceded in death by her son, Eric Weedin. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Morris Weedin; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Kimberly K. Weedin; grandchildren, Austin, Kristin, Stephen, Alesha, and Brooke; and daughter-in-law, Kimberly S. Weedin.
The family offers their heartfelt thanks to the Little Sisters of the Poor for their friendship and care over the years.
