Beverly Ann Mosnick, age 63, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on December 22, 2016, in the presence of her family.  She was born in Oakland, CA, on February 10, 1953, at the Oak Knoll Naval Hospital to Larry and Clarice Mosnick.  Beverly attended St. James Catholic School, Loretto Academy and Coe College.  She received a Social Work degree from Avila College and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Kansas.  She was employed by the State of Missouri for approximately 35 years, ending her career in the Department of Health and Senior Services.

Beverly was active in civic matters and charitable causes.  She was the second female president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and was awarded a prestigious award from Catholic Charities for her charitable work.  She was an active board member of Camp Wonderland, a special needs camp located at the Lake of the Ozarks.  Beverly maintained lifelong friendships from grade school and high school, Jaycee and work friends.  Beverly enjoyed many memorable days with family and friends at her Lake of the Ozarks cabin.

She was predeceased in death by her father, Larry Mosnick, Sr.  She is survived by her mother, Clarice Mosnick, as well as her siblings, Debbie (and Greg) Schmidt of North Andover, MA, Larry (and Phyllis) Mosnick of Crystal Lake, IL, Stephanie (and Ted) Ennis of Lee's Summit, MO, and her nieces and nephews: Jessica, Jacob and Nate Schmidt, Emily, Alex and Christina Mosnick, and Lauren and Teddy Ennis, whom she adored.

The family wants to especially thank the staff at St. Luke's East Hospital for their wonderful care during the last month of her life.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Camp Wonderland, 18591 Miller Circle, Rocky Mount, MO 65072 to be used for their special needs programs.

Visiting hours will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO, on Tuesday December 27, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., and the Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. A luncheon will be served in the St. Thomas More Parish Hall following the interment.
