Calogera Giametta, 91, passed away September 20, 2020. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 24, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, KCMO. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum, KC North. Masks and social distancing are required.

Calogera was born January 26, 1929, in Camporeale, Province of Palermo, Sicily. She was a devoted mother, daughter, and wife, and caretaker of her family and property. She migrated to the United States in 2005.

Calogera was preceded in death by her parents, Antonino Giametta and Filippa Donze; her husband, Raimondo Liotta; daughter-in-law, Santina Liotta; and sister, Piera Orlando. She is survived by her son, Luigi Liotta (Ignazia Bevinetto) and their children, Lilla Liotta and Raimondo Liotta; her son, Antonino Liotta and his children Lilla Adkins, and Raimondo Liotta (Sammi) and their children, Brilynn, Santina, Kinsley, Addison, and Antonino; and her sister and brothers, Francesca, Giusseppe (Leonarda), Salvatore (Teresa), Filippo (Salvatresa), Paolo (companion Nina); and brother-in-law, Calogero Orlando.
