Carl Anthony Cavallaro, 72, of Independence, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013.
Carl was born September 16, 1940 in Kansas City, MO. He was married to his true love, Sue Cavallaro, for 54 years. He retired from ABF in 2004. Carl was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt, NASCAR and college football, and loved watching his westerns daily, spending time outside, and working on his vehicles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Lucy (Ingrassia) Cavallaro; his sister, Grace Cavallaro; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Carl is survived by his wife, Sue Cavallaro; son, Rick Cavallaro; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Archie Henderson, Carla and Jerry Lynn; granddaughters, Toni Helton and husband Mick, Sami Cavallaro, Kady Johnson, Angel McDonald, Piper Moore; grandsons, Cody Johnson, Chip Henderson; and six great-grandchildren.
Carl loved his family and enjoyed his grandkids and great-grandkids.
Memorial Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, February 4, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124.
