Carl Gordon Cobb's Obituary
Carl Gordon Cobb, "Carl Quaff", 62, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017, surrounded by his family and friends. He was cremated according to his wishes. A memorial service will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, October 29, at The Quaff Bar & Grill, 1010 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64105.
Carl was born October 30, 1954, in Anna, IL, and grew up in Topeka, KS, where he graduated from Highland Park High School in 1972. He was bar manager at The Quaff in Kansas City for 30 years. Carl was an avid, longtime motorcyclist and a portion of his ashes will be scattered in Sturgis, SD, as he requested.
Carl was preceded in death by his father, Carl Cobb; and his mother, Elsie Goddard. He is survived by his sister, Sheryl Cobb of San Antonio, TX; his brother, Gary Cobb of Portland, OR; and many friends.
