Carl David Moser, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and Navy veteran, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024, at the age of 85.
Born on October 12, 1938, Carl grew up to lead a life filled with dedication and love. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1961 aboard the USS Peterson. Following his honorable discharge, Carl pursued higher education, earning a master's degree in accounting and achieving the esteemed title of Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Carl was preceded in death by his daughter, Annette May Moser, but leaves behind a legacy of love and commitment. He is survived by his devoted wife of many years, Rita Marie Moser, their children Mary Michelle Moser, Carl Martin Moser, and Ross David Moser, as well as grandchildren who brought him immense joy throughout his life.
Known for his unwavering devotion to his family, Carl was a loving husband and a supportive father who always put his loved ones first. He was incredibly generous and took great pleasure in caring for those around him. Carl had a range of talents and interests that enriched the lives of those who knew him. He was particularly skilled at crafting delicious omelets, hosting memorable backyard BBQs, and effortlessly answering Jeopardy questions, showcasing his sharp intellect and love for trivia. An avid lover of the outdoors, Carl found solace in the mountains of Colorado and cherished the thrill of snow skiing. His adventurous spirit and zest for life were contagious, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of sharing in his passions. Carl David Moser will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
