Carl J. Ramsey, 76, passed away May 6, 2022.

Carl was born May 9, 1945, in Kansas City MO, to the late James W. Ramsey and Delia Sprofera Ramsey. He was self-employed and worked in the Insurance Industry before retiring.  Many knew him from selling Prudential Insurance in the Northeast area.  In his earlier years he loved hunting, golfing, and going to the casino.  He enjoyed and loved his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.  He also loved the holidays.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty Marie Sweeney, wife Marilyn S. Ramsey and son Carl J. Ramsey.  He is survived by his daughter Theresa A Ramsey; daughter-in-law Mindy Ramsey; grandchildren Nicole Ramsey, Ross Ramsey, Carl A. Ramsey, Gabriella Ramsey; great granddaughter Rosalina A Ramsey; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Carl A. Ramsey, Richard Sweeney, Benjamin Sweeney, Gregory Sweeney, Lucas Sweeney, and Ross Ramsey.
