Carl John Tamburello, 91, passed away October 16, 2018. Visitation will be 9 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1357 NE 42 ^nd Terr., Kansas City, MO. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum. The family requests no flowers.

Carl was born February 13, 1927, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Gaetano and Josephine Tamburello. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII serving with the Armed Forces Radio Service and retired as regional sales manager for Encyclopedia Britannica after 44 years.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Mary Tamburello; and his beloved Down Syndrome daughter, Carla Tamburello. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Anthony Palermo; grandchildren, Angela Palermo-Scheidt and husband John, Alisha Palermo, Beth Palermo; one beautiful great-granddaughter, Olivia Scheidt; brother and sisters-in-law, Victor and DeeDee Tamburello, Jean Tamburello; and many nieces and nephews.
