Our beloved mother, Carmeline (Ferro) Plas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 15, 2018, at the age of 98. Visitation will be 10 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 21, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 7207 NW Hwy 9, Kansas City, MO 64152. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Therese Parish.

Carmeline was born February 9, 1920, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Phillip and Mary (Cuezze) Ferro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Plas; her son, Steve Plas Jr.; and her brother, Joe Ferro. Survivors include her children, Lilli Taylor (Ross), Mary Mahanes, Frank Plas (Lenise), Phil Plas, Joe Plas (Erin); her grandchildren, John Calcara (Lisa), Stephanie Lashley, Mary Rose Solis (Mike), Anna Nichols (Dustin), Steven Plas, Katelyn Plas, Maggie Plas, and Mollie Plas; her great-grandchildren, Ben, Aidan, Andrew, Isabella, Katelyn, Antonio, and Christian; and her brother-in-law, Frank Plas of Las Vegas, NV.

Carmeline dedicated her life to her husband, her family, and her faith.
