Carmen
Wiseman
Oct 10, 1944 — Feb 7, 2021
Maria de Carmen Wiseman, 76, of Northeast Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully at home on February 7, 2021, her 53 rd wedding anniversary.
Carmen was born October 10, 1944 in Sinton, Texas, to Jose and Delores Rodriquez. She grew up in Sinton and was the first in her family to graduate from high school and go on to college to become a nurse. After graduation she met Mike Wiseman, who was in the Navy and stationed in Texas. They married on February 7, 1968 and relocated to Kansas City permanently.
Carmen was a people person. She loved and accepted everyone for who they are no matter what. She preached love out loud and practiced it as well. She enjoyed family, dogs, gardening, singing, music, dancing, sewing and lived her life to the fullest. Being a nurse came naturally to Carmen and it was her passion. She went back to school and in 1986 became a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science degree - one of her proudest accomplishments. She nursed until she became medically retired in 2001.
Carmen loved people. She loved to help people and always opened her door to anyone who needed help. She was an excellent mother not just to her children but nieces, nephews, cousins, and many others. She mentored them for years. Carmen loved her dogs and had many special ones thru the years like Shawn, Bear, Sunea, Georgia, and Shane who met her at the Rainbow Bridge. Carmen was lucky enough to meet her soul mate Mike and be with him for over 55 years which is the greatest love story of all times. Few and far between know what they shared.
Carmen believed strongly in Jesus and it is her family's comfort to know she has met him and is now brand new and free from pain. If you question why Carmen left, you have to remember that she was a lady, and a lady always knows when to leave.
Rest in heaven. We love you. We will miss you so much.
