Carol Ann Scardacci, 68, Independence, MO, passed away January 14, 2018. Visitation will be 11 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Burial will follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery.

Carol was born October 26, 1949, to the late Albert and Nettie Seutter. Known as "Mom" to everyone, she was loving person, a great cook, and enjoyed watching wrestling and visiting the casinos.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Scardacci, in 2013; and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Trina Coleman (Curtis), Shane Bankston (Ellie), Renae Bankston (Robert Wanyonyi); her grandchildren, Stephanee, Xavier, JazLinn, Curtis, Tiffany, Aaron, Ashley, Lezlee, Xander, Michael, A'Rayah, and Annabella; great-grandchildren, Venicio and Na'Lya; siblings, Lawrence, Gary, Joyce, and Ronnie Seutter; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Roscoe, and granddog Alpha.
