Carolyn D. Stancil, 71, Independence, MO, passed away July 31, 2020. Visitation will be 11 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 12 p.m. on Monday, August 10, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens, Independence, MO.

Carol was born August 10, 1948, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Juven and Hope Diaz. She worked for Pacific Northwest Bell and Missouri Gas Energy before she retired.

Carol is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Stancil; her sons, William R. "Ray" Craft Jr. (Pam) and Mark A. Craft Sr.; her grandchildren, Mark A. Craft Jr., Derek Schweich, Ethan Schweich, and Ella Schweich; her siblings, Gloria Juarez (Manuel), Michael Diaz (Cheryl), Angela Hankins (Raymond), Cynthia Manes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
