Carrie Marie (Barber) Giacometti, 89, died on April 15th, 2024, in Lee's Summit MO.

Carrie was born on October 22nd, 1934, in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Filomena and Vito Barber. She attended Glennon High School and graduated magna cum laude in 1952. Carrie married Modest "Jack" Giacometti in 1960 and together they loved their three daughters Maria, Julianne, and Michelle. Jack predeceased Carrie in 1972 and she embarked on a lengthy career in sales where she excelled. After she retired, Carrie loved working as a volunteer at Hillcrest thrift shop and was a proud member of the St. Joseph Society.

Carrie leaves behind three daughters Maria Robertson (Ty) of Raytown, MO, Julianne Lindley (Jim) of Kansas City, MO, and Michelle Taylor (Ryan) of Bethalto, IL; eight grandchildren Carrie Henning (Joel), Calvin Robertson, Lauren Stevens (Patrick), Caitlin Robertson, Gabrielle Lindley, Emma Taylor, Jack Taylor, and Luke Taylor; and five great-grandchildren Briana Henning, Jameson Robertson, Neo Henning, Lindley Stevens, and JP Stevens.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 20, at St. Mark Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
