Catherine A. Tristanio, a lifelong resident of Kansas City, MO, passed away April 21, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital. She was 93. Visitation will be 12:00-1:45 p.m. Friday, May 14 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Avenue, Kansas City, MO, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. Private burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Holy Rosary Catholic Church or Operation Breakthrough.

Cathy was a devoted daughter, sister, cousin, aunt and great aunt. Faith and family were her lifelong loves and Cathy's commitment and thoughtfulness were unmatched. She was dedicated to her many friends, career and an avid follower of the Chiefs and Royals. She worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield for 46 years. Co-workers and a former CEO describe Cathy as a great ambassador in the community and example of company loyalty. They expressed gratefulness for her remarkable friendship and professionalism.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Giovanni & Marie Tristanio, her brothers and their spouses Sam & Louise Tristanio, Ben & Diva Tristanio, Joe & Millie Tristanio, and her sister and brother-in-law Bessie & Les Nigro.
