Catherine Marie Bradley Cummings, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away with her loving family at her side, on February 11, 2024. Services will be held on Friday, February 16, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64106. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. and continue until 10:45 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held in Oklahoma on Sunday, February 25, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the new Civic Plaza next to The Village City Hall at 2304 Manchester Drive, Oklahoma City, OK 73120.

Cathy was born in Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her mother, RoseMarie Bradley, and her father, James H. "Junior" Bradley. Cathy grew up in Kansas City, attending St. Elizabeth grade school and graduated from St. Teresa's Academy. Beginning at the age of 12, she helped out at her family business, the Pumpernickel Deli, and worked side by side with her entire close and extended family to make it a successful downtown fixture.

She moved to Oklahoma City in 2001 and later opened up her own Italian restaurant, Vito's Ristorante. For the past 20 years, Vito's welcomed each customer as family. Cathy had a remarkable ability to make everyone she met feel valued and heard; a quality that served her well when she ventured into local politics. As a city councilwoman and later as the mayor of The City of the Village she championed initiatives to improve parks, sidewalks, and other community resources. Cathy was a beacon for positive change and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband, Sean Cummings; her devoted children, RoseMarie Curiel (Will Roszel), Danielle Torbeck (Trey), Angelina Curiel, Gabriel Cummings, and Kyle Cummings; her siblings, Julie Copenhaver (Mike), Jim Bradley (Suzanne), Tom Bradley (Ann), and Chuck Bradley (Dana). She will be greatly missed by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
