Charles L. "Chuck" Cordray II, 51, of Independence, MO, passed away January 28, 2020 at the home he shared with the love of his life and best friend - his wife of 23 years Rachelle Cordray. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Burial will follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery.

Chuck was born December 13, 1968, in Kansas City, MO, and attended Northeast High School. He was a truck driver for over twenty years and most recently worked for Pro Driver. He was an avid bowler, with a high score of 298, and once bowled in five leagues at one time.  His favorite hobby was catfishing and he loved doing anything outdoors. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was a diehard Chiefs fan - win or lose. He was really looking forward to seeing them in the Super Bowl this year.

Chuck was preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas and Evelyn Cordray; grandparents George and Geneva Hartman; and parents Charles and Georgia Cordray. He is survived by his wife Rachelle Cordray of the home; daughter Cierra Cordray (Joey Ballard) of Gladstone, MO; son Preston Cordray of Independence, MO; son Nickolas Cordray of Independence, MO; brother Jeff Cordray of Kansas City, MO; brother Bobby Cordray of Pleasant Hill, MO; sister Sis Shafer (Steve Shafer) of Independence, MO; brother Matt Cordray of Pleasant Hill, MO; sister Mary Cordray of Independence, MO; sister Joyce Wagers of Independence, MO; and grandchildren Ean, Aria and Theo.
