Charlotte Louise Recob, 70, was born on September 27, 1947. On Monday, December 4, 2017, in a bittersweet moment, Charlotte, another Guardian Angel, has found her wings and set off on a flight safe into the arms of God and those gone before her waiting in anticipation for her arrival as Charlotte makes her way to Heaven to be with Mom, Dad and Joe.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 12 p.m. on Saturday December 16, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 309 Benton Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124.

Charlotte graduated from Cardinal Glennon High School in 1965. She attended Avila College and her dream was to be a teacher. She received a degree in Education in 1970. Being a teacher was one of the greatest joys in Charlotte's life!! She learned origami, the Japanese art of paper folding, while in college. She was quite advanced in her skills. We had a Christmas tree decorated with only origami ornaments made by Charlotte!! Our tree was beautiful and unique!!

Charlotte was an avid sports fan. She cheered on the KC Chiefs and KC Royals, but her heart truly belonged to the Kansas City Comets soccer team!! She and her brother Ray (whose generosity knows no bounds) had season tickets to the Comets!! She enjoyed going to those games so much.

Charlotte also dove into genealogy with unbridled zeal!! She loved finding our roots from both sides of the family. More than anything Charlotte loved music - her favorites being the Beatles, Duran Duran, and Bon Jovi. She saw the Beatles twice in concert!! Dad drove her to St. Louis to see them at Busch Stadium. When she graduated from High School she went to California to see them in Concert too!! The Beatles have always been a huge part of Charlottes life. She believed "All You Need Is Love".

Charlotte was preceded in death by her father, Harry Recob; mother, Virginia Recob; and her brother, Joseph. She leaves behind her loving brother and sisters Raymond, Mary Ann Steiner (Jack), Susan and Darlene Recob; nieces and nephews, Kain, Seattle Kay, Kaleb, Marlie Mae, Luciana and Piper Storm, and Christie Angel; lifelong friends from grade school, Kathleen Monteleone, and high school pen pal, Lelia O'Reilly; many cousins, friends, and relatives; and estranged family, Rose, John, Linda, David, and Amanda.

The family would like to thank St. Luke's Hospice House for treating Charlotte with respect, dignity and love during her last days on earth. She absolutely luxuriated in all the golden care you showered upon her.

Charlotte will be in our hearts forever deeply loved and constantly missed. Vaya Con Dios.
