Claire Irene Kaszuba Babiuch, 91, passed away peacefully at Villa St. Francis Catholic Care Center on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Visitation will be 9 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 309 Benton Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Claire was born on August 23, 1926, and was preceded in death by her loving husband, John George; her parents, Mary and John Kaszuba; her twin sister, Wanda Mufic; and her other siblings, Helen Plaskett, Mary Gronek, Laura Sullivan, Steve Kaszuba, Alexander, Rosemary and John Rodak. She is survived by her children, Marianna Coatney, (Jon), Janeice Babiuch, John Babiuch Jr. (Anne), Joseph Babiuch (Debi), and Jacqueline Conkling (David); seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
