Clarice (Wefenstette) Mosnick, age 86, of Lee's Summit, MO, passed away on January 10, 2017, in the presence of her family.  She was born in Guthrie, MO on February 23rd, 1930.  She was employed as a legal secretary for 45 years for Lowell Knipmeyer and associates.

Clarice was active in The Ladies of Charity, Red Bridge Garden Club and volunteered for many church activities at St. Thomas More Church, of which she was a member for 49 years. She enjoyed many years of family gatherings at the Lake of the Ozarks and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased in death by the love of her life, Larry Mosnick, Sr., their daughter, Beverly Mosnick, and sisters: Lilian Handlang, Ardry Quinn and Opal Payne.  She is survived by her sisters: Jewell Hansen and Bernice Miller, her children, Debbie (Greg) Schmidt of North Andover, MA, Larry (Phyllis) Mosnick of Crystal Lake, IL,  Stephanie (Ted) Ennis of Lee's Summit, MO and her grandchildren: Jessica, Jacob and Nate Schmidt, Emily, Alex and Christina Mosnick, and Lauren and Teddy Ennis, whom she adored.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Wonderland Camp , 18591 Miller Circle, Rocky Mount, MO 65072 to be used for their camp programs.  Her wish is for disabled individuals to enjoy the Lake of the Ozarks as much as she did.  Visiting hours will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO, on Monday, January 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the Mass will follow at 1 pm. The Ladies of Charity will say the rosary at 10:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at an announced location following the interment.
