Congetta "Connie" Giro's Obituary
On Monday, September 7, 2015, Connie Giro, 94, went to be with her husband of 66 years, Aldo Giro, who preceded her in death in 2007. She is survived by her three sons, Louis, Michael and wife Nikki, and David; her grandchildren, Jamison, Gina, Alex, Lane, and Mackenzi; and her great-grandchild, Bentley.
After retiring from RJ Delano School, where she was adored by students and faculty for 25 years, Connie's giving nature led her to volunteer work for Independence Regional Hospital and The Groves retirement community well into her 80's. She was loved by everyone who had the privilege of meeting her and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, September 10, at the Funeral Home, followed by burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Carl Mannino, Anthony Mannino, Daniel Sbisa, Richard Randazzo, Richard Bott, Sammy Carolla.
