Cynthia was born February 21, 1956, in Kansas City, MO. Everyone she met loved her. She loved to dance, laugh, and have a good time but mostly she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah A. Downing; her husband, Amon L. Johnson; and her parents. She is survived by her children, Frank J. Downing and Erin M. Downing; her grandchildren, Micah, Anthony, Mila, and Niqo; sisters, Bella Cornett, Traci Cornett, and Mary Ann; brother, Michael Cornett; nieces and nephews.
