Daniel E. Bax, 78, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017. The Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. followed by visitation from 4:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 11, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 7207 NW Hwy 9, Kansas City, MO 64152. The funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, at St. Therese Church. Cremation will follow the services. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital , 5401 South St., Lincoln, NE 68506; or the Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City , 3011 Baltimore, Kansas City, MO 64108.

Dan was born February 2, 1939, in Kansas City, MO, to Julius and Emma (Heckemeyer) Bax. He was Sheet Metal Lead Mechanic for TWA before retiring in 2000 after 35 years. He was an active member of Holy Cross Parish for many years and later at St. Therese Parish. Dan was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Judy Bax.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy (Kelly) Bax; his children, Daniel "Patrick" Bax, Kelly Kaullen (James "Jimmy"); grandchildren, Ryan and Olivia Kaullen, Josh Kaullen, Danielle Kaullen; siblings, Charlie Bax (Betty), Betty Martin (Ralph), Robert Bax (Kathleen), Ralph Bax (Mary Lou), Mary Jane Reese (Ed), David Bax (Christine); and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
