Daniel K. Koehler, 65, passed away February 10, 2020. Visitation will be 10 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 12 p.m. on Friday, February 14 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 7207 NW Hwy 9, Kansas City, MO 64152. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum, Kansas City North.

Dan was born January 24, 1955 in Seneca, KS, to Valentine and Ann (Mueting) Koehler. He was a 1973 graduate of St. Pius X High School and was owner of Dan Koehler Construction Co. He enjoyed hunting, carpentry and working on cars, but his daughters were his pride and joy. Family meant everything to him.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Valentine J. Koehler; his mother, Ann Koehler Hunter; infant sister, Margaret Koehler; and mother-in-law, Rosaria Piraino. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Josephine Piraino Koehler; his daughters, Sara Koehler, Christina Koehler and Laura Koehler; siblings, Mary Ann Christensen (Marlin) of Viborg, SD, Robert Koehler of Las Vegas, NV, Carol Koehler of Kansas City, MO, Ruth Schmalz (Norman Jr.) of Kansas City, MO, Gwen Ascensio (Joe) of Kansas City, MO, Agnes Koehler of Kansas City, MO, Michelle Koch (Tyler) of Overland Park, KS, Marlin Koehler (Kim) of Kansas City, MO; father-in-law, Vincent Piraino; brother-in-law, Ross Piraino (Kathy); and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
