Daniel Benton Sage, 88, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016. Visitation will be 10 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 12, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 8812 E. Gregory Blvd., Raytown, MO 64133. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Dan was born January 31, 1928. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, and was an Ironworker with Local #10 for 20 years before retiring in 1989. He was an avid sportsman and golfer and once scored a hole-in-one.

Dan was preceded in death by his son, Michael D. Sage, in 2015. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, JoAnne Sage; his children, Daniel J. Sage (Carole), Mikki Harper (Gary), Phillip J. Sage, and Stephen D. Sage (Amy); daughter-in-law, Robin Sage; grandchildren, Zachery, Madison, Lillian, Matthew, Tony, Carole, Danielle, Oriah, Siddartha, Tamar, and Charity; and several great-grandchildren.
