Darrell Robert Moffit, age 61, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away July 14, 2024, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Darrell was born to Robert and Eileen (Kaczor) Moffit in Kansas City, MO and grew up in Raytown. He graduated from Raytown High School and went to work with his father at Moffit Radio as a service technician. Darrell, staying in the service industry, went on to work for Harley Davidson as a service manager. After several years with Harley Davidson, he moved to the Lake of the Ozarks and opened his own real estate business, living at the Lake where he loved spending weekends when he was growing up. He moved back to Raytown after several years and returned to work for Harley Davidson before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  He leaves his sister Leslie (Michael) Holland, brother Kurt (Lisa) Moffit and his nephews Sean and Brendan Holland and niece Maureen (Gabe) Swope.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 17, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kansas City, MO. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. The family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
