David Castro, 100, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 25 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery.

David was born in Fort Worth, Texas on April 10, 1923 to Juan and Carmen Castro. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. David was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Parish, member of the military, serving in WWII and retired from the railroad industry.

David was preceded in death by his parents; wife Francis of 70 years; son David Jr.; siblings and many other loved ones.
