Obituary

David Bradley Wheeler, 58, left this earthly life to the heavenly one on September 2, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 5, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Visitation will also be 9-10 a.m. Friday, September 6, at Raytown Christian Church, 6108 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO 64133, where funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. David was a humble man with a passion for living. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, son and friend. David worked at Hallmark Cards for the past 34 years, most recently working as Product Integrity Analyst. David leaves behind many caring friends and co-workers that he considered his 'Hallmark family'. David was an Eagle Scout and he was a music member of choirs in church, high school and college. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and was passionate about the Missouri Tigers, KC Chiefs and KC Royals.

David was preceded in death by his father Bradley. He leaves behind this wife Keri, mother Jean Wheeler, daughter Danielle Yen (James), son Brandon, sister Judy Schaeperkoetter (Mark), brother George, step-sons Charles Karr and Bryan Karr (Renee); grandchildren Lily Yen, Dylan Karr, Jordan Karr and Joseph Karr, best friend David Bollman (Beverly), and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

David's favorite saying was, "I have places to go, things to do and people to see".

David will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched.
