Debra Ann Caponetto, 67, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, having never wavered in her faith and trust in God, or in her belief in a heavenly afterlife.

Debbie was a unique and caring individual. She was devoted to her family and friends and loved spending time them, especially watching a Chiefs game, having coffee or just talking on the phone. More than anything, she cared deeply for her family, always putting them first. She was an amazing wife, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.

Debbie graduated from Oak Park High School and worked in retail for many years, building a rapport with her customers. She touched the lives of all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband Phillip Caponetto Jr.; her mother Theresa Donelson; her siblings Mark Donelson and Kristy Cannon; her nieces Courtney Cannon and Brittney Cannon; and her nephew Nick Cannon (Monica).

Services will be held on Thursday, October 8, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
