Delmar Dean Domitz, 84, passed away June 25, 2018. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 29, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO 64131. Entombment will follow at Mount Olivet Mausoleum.

Dean was born August 25, 1933, in Humboldt, KS, to the late Charles and Ruby (Hunt) Domitz, and graduated high school in Joplin, MO. He worked for Boeing Airplane Co. in the tool drafting department before serving four years in the U.S. Air Force as a second lieutenant navigator. He returned to Boeing before attending the University of Missouri-Columbia. Following graduation, he worked for Royal-Globe Insurance Co., RB Jones, and later Haas-Wilkerson Insurance Brokerage & Agency in Kansas City before retiring.

Dean was preceded in death by his brothers, Leroy and Charles "Chuck" Domitz. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Antoinette "Toni" Arello-Domitz; his sons, David Domitz (Janice) of Eddyville, KY, and Scott Domitz of Kansas City, MO; grandson, Dustin Dean Domitz of Eddyville, KY; sister, Doris Gibbs of Joplin, MO; sister-in-law, Rosie Domitz of Eveleth, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

Dean will be missed by all his family and friends.
