Diana Cerniglia, 67, of Independence, MO, passed away April 13, 2022, at Kansas City Hospice House. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Diana was born October 21, 1954, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Salvatore "Sam" and Rose (Saladino) Cerniglia and was proud of her Italian heritage. She loved music and enjoyed feeding and entertaining family and friends.

Survivors include her son Nicholas Cerniglia; grandchildren Nicco, Rocco, Mia, MaKenna and Laylah; her special friend Mary McGrath, who was like a sister; lifelong friend Annette Gray; and many loving cousins and friends.
